Your Skin Is In

Did you know, people who use tanning beds once a month before the age of 35 increase their melanoma risk by 75%? Tanning for your prom, or any time, can be dangerous. You look great just the way you are. We think your skin is in. The Foundation's "Your Skin Is In" is contest asks high school students to take a No-Tanning pledge prior to their proms. Schools with 70% participation are entered into a raffle to win cash for their school. The contest educates teens about the dangers of tanning.

KELLI PEDROIA, OUR SPOKESPERSON

Hi, I’m so glad you are here to learn more about our "Your Skin Is In" program. I hope you and your friends will take the No-Tanning pledge and join me in having natural and healthy skin! When I was in high school I followed along with what everyone else was doing. I loved the sun and loved the feeling of being tan. I went to a tanning salon for the first time my sophomore year. It was to be the first time of many. At age 18, I was diagnosed with melanoma. I hope by sharing my story I will help teens from making the same mistakes that I made, here's more of my story.

HOW DO I ENTER THE CONTEST?
